Salmon fishing in Victoria has been pretty spotty recently. If you were willing to go further out towards constance bank the fishing was better with fish up to the mid teens. Most salmon are still mostly undersized but some bigger ones are out there. Gear that has been working the best have been small spoons, hootchies and flash flys, with the madi and moon jelly flashers beaning the most popular.

Halibut fishing in Victoria has been good recently with Constance bank, Border bank and William head producing the most hali's. Large herring, octopus and salmon bellies were the bait of choice.
