Fishing has continued to be productive on our latest Nanaimo fishing charters. We have started to find the coho out off five fingers, with retention for hatchery only fish. Chinook fishing has been off and on lately as we wait for the summer runs of chinook to come through. We did get into a trophy 33 pound tyee chinook on one of our nanaimo fishing charters last week. We have been catching some in the 20's as well. Nice to see such big fish early in the season. In a weeks time chinook salmon will be open for retention for one fish per person.
