Nanaimo Fishing Charters Report 6/30/2017

The fishing on our most recent fishing charters has picked up a fair bit over previous Nanaimo fishing trips. While the coho salmon fishing has been fairly consistent, the chinook fishing has been a bit more of a challenge on our fishing charters Nanaimo. Some trips we are finding some decent sized ones and the next trip they are nowhere to be found. We have been getting some smaller springs more consistently but unfortunately they are under the legal size to retain but still fun to catch. To keep a chinook salmon on a Nanaimo fishing charter in area 17, it must be 62 cm or 25 inches long from the tail to the tip of the head. A nice bonus for our guests lately have been the killer whale sightings we have been having. I would say one out of every 5 Nanaimo fishing trips we are lucky enough to see these great beasts this year. You just never know what you will see on a great adventure on a fishing charters trip!

Cheers
