While there are not many reports or fishing charters in Nootka Sound right now, as it is the off season, we are looking forward to a great 2016 season! 2015 was a great year for fishing in Nootka Sound and Esperanza with tons of salmon in the 20+lb range and lots of Halibut and bottom fish. Tahsis and Gold River are also good areas to leave from if your wanting to fish Esperanza inlet or Nootka Sound. Most lodges book months to a year in advance for fishing trips, so make sure to book your fishing charter trip with Unreel Charters as early as possible, we'd hate for you to miss out on a chance to fish these beautiful waters.
